About the College:
MNR College of Pharmacy at Sangareddy, one hour drive away from Hi-tech city, is one among the 41 top grade institutions run across the country by MNR Educational trust. This trust was formed in 1974 by Shri M. N. Raju with the noble aim to shape the student into proud citizen of this great nation, laying emphasis on honing their intake skills and addressing their psychological and spiritual needs. Shri. Vasu Varma Manthena and Shri. Ravi Varma Manthena the two young Directors of this trust adds a perfect blend of modern approaches required to achieve the goal. The college posses state of the-art laboratories providing the best platform for training the students to become a scientist, industrial or community pharmacist. The college established collaborations with various pharmaceutical industries in and around Hyderabad, as well as with foreign universities to meet the high level standards. Recently the MNR group of institutions entered into MOU with University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, to have students and faculty exchange programme, combined research activities and E-Lecturers. As the institution is located in a campus of 120 acres area which consists of Medical Educational Complex with 500 bedded multispeciality hospital, the students receive an unmatched clinical experience.
About the Conference:
This AICTE sponsored two days National Conference is aimed for motivating the academicians and young researchers to achieve quality in education and research. The invited speakers are well renowned and great expertise in their respective fields. The topics of discussions are tailored in such a way to focus the most critical aspects of pharmaceutical education, industry and research. A peer reviewed poster session is arranged for expressing the views and exposing the research of young scientists and students. This helps to inculcate not only sharing technical knowledge but also to express their innovative ideas. Thus the main objective of the conference is to provide a common platform to discuss and update the knowledge with respect to the trend setting areas of pharmaceutical education and research.

Call for Papers:
Abstracts (around 250 words) for poster presentations (research or review) are invited on A4- size paper, typed in Times New Roman with font size 12 and to be submitted along with the soft copy on or before Jan 30, 2009 addressed to The Convenor, Scientific Services Committee, NSETPS, MNR College of Pharmacy, Sangareddy-502 294, Medak District. Duly filled Registration Form along with DD should be sent with the abstract.
